Gallery Walk Bloomington’s September event will include a virtual tour of local artists’ home studios. The live tours will be followed up by Q&A’s with the five participating artists: Joe and Beth Lee, Terin JD, Angela Frezzo, Ellen Starr Lyon, and Meg Lagodzki. The event will be streamed on Facebook.

“We continue to offer creative ways to safely reach out to our community during this challenging time,” the organization said in a press release. “Though many of our galleries will be relatively quiet this month, we are excited to offer a variety of art experiences inside our gallery spaces, as well as virtual studio tours of five talented local artists.”

In addition to the virtual event, in-person exhibits are being held at By Hand Gallery, Dimensions Gallery at Artisan Alley, Gallery B at Bloomingfoods Near West, Gallery SCG, the Monroe Convention Center Art Gallery, the FAR Center for Contemporary Arts, Rainbow Bakery, The Venue Fine Art & Gifts, Untitled Light, and The Vault at Gallery Mortgage.

The September Gallery Walk is this Friday, September 4, from 5–8 p.m. The locations and hours of each participating gallery, and more information on individual exhibits, is available at www.gallerywalkbloomington.com.
