Community Kitchen Continues to Provide Meals During Pandemic

The Community Kitchen of Monroe County is continuing to provide meals for those in need during the statewide COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) lockdown.

The organization is offering both warm and cold carryout meals from its locations at 1515 S. Rogers St. and 1100 W. 11^th St. The Backback Buddies program, which provides food to school-age children, is also still operational.

During the statewide lockdown mandated by Gov. Eric Holcomb, which will last through April 6, the Community Kitchen is operating without its usual volunteers.
