Auditions for Cardinal Stage Company’s production of Garfield: The Musical with Cattitude will be held from noon until 2 p.m. on Monday, July 17. Auditions are open to anyone age 18 and over.
Auditions will be held at the Cardinal Stage office at 900 S. Walnut and those auditioning are asked to bring a resume and headshot. (Those without a headshot may bring any photo themselves.)
Garfield, a chubby and sarcastic tabby cat, fantasizes about having the most amazing birthday in the history of birthdays. He deserves it for being the best cat ever. But, it seems that all his friends—Arlene, Odie, Jon, and even his nemesis, Nermal—seem to have forgotten. Me-owch! Feeling rejected, Garfield ventures out to find adventure, but quickly learns that “home is where the heart … and the food is.”
Rehearsals will begin on or about August 8, with specific times determined by cast availability. Performances run September 6 through 24 at the Ivy Tech Waldron Auditorium.
