Bloomington’s newest city park will be the site of the Bloomington Winter Farmers’ Market (BWFM). With a season running from December 7, 2019, through March 28, 2020, the market is open every Saturday from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Previously held at Harmony School, beginning this year the BWFM will be housed in the new Switchyard Park Pavilion, 245 W. Grimes Lane. Free parking is available in the pavilion parking lot; the entrance is off South Rogers Street.

Rosie Sill, BWFM board president, says the market hosts about 35 vendors each week offering a diverse variety of products, including fresh produce, local meat and poultry, dairy products, eggs, roasted coffee, maple syrup, honey, and jam. There are also cut flowers, seeds, and plants. Baked goods and prepared foods will also be available. As in previous years, local musicians will provide entertainment.
