The December registration for Kid City Break Days is now open. Break Days provide childcare for students in kindergarten through sixth grade during Monroe County Community School Corporation breaks, including Winter Break and Spring Break.

Kid City, located at the Allison-Jukebox Community Center on South Washington Street, provides attending students—called “campers”—with opportunities to engage in supervised learning, play, and socialization. Campers may play outside, engage in socially distanced play with other campers, and participate in organized activities like crafts and games.

The scheduled December Break Day sessions are Monday, December 21–Wednesday, December 23, and Monday, December 28–Wednesday, December 30. The registration deadlines for these sessions are December 14 and December 21, respectively. Each session costs $135, with scholarships available.

Kid City Break Days are inclusive and accessible for children of all abilities. Guardians with campers in need of special accommodations should visit this website.
