The Good Deeds of Student Volunteers Win Praise from President Obama

Forty-five local students are recipients of the 2012 President’s Volunteer Service Award, which “rewards and encourages young people who contribute to meeting the needs of their community through volunteerism.” The students received a certificate and pin from President Barack Obama and another pin from Bloomington Mayor Mark Kruzan.
