It was billed as “An Evening with Krista Detor” at the new FAR Center for Contemporary Arts, and what a night it was!

Krista, as always, put on a mesmerizing show—smart, funny, touching, outrageous—accompanied by husband/musician Dave Weber and bass player/English professor Rod Taylor. Krista’s voice was beautiful and her original songs were brilliant. The audience also got a first look at the almost, nearly, very-soon-to-be completed FAR Center. (By the time you read this, I’m assured, it will be completed.)

The beneficiaries of the evening’s largess of $7,120 are New Hope for Families and the Bloomington Refugee Support Network.

The benefit was made possible by the generosity of Martha and David Moore of Pictura Gallery and owners of the FAR Center. Wine for the evening was donated by the ever-benevolent Oliver Winery. The scrumptious fare was provided by One World Catering, gorgeous flowers by Cathy Teeters Beautiful Weddings & Design Studio, and stage from Master Rental.
